About Crows by John Ciardi

Well, my first time at blogging was a disaster. Telling the story is all "BASSACKWARDS" So to get the jest of this blog. Start at the bottom and work your way up. But as we say goodnight this night let me leave you with this little poem. As I tried to tell the "boys" not to go up the street to ride the plasma cars they just wouldn't listen. I guess that's what I get for trying to be protective. Well as they just laughed at me and thought I was old and senile this poem came to mind. It is one of my favorites.

"The old crow is getting slow;
the young crow is not.
Of what the young crow does not know,
the old crow knows a lot.

All knowing things, the old crow is still
the young crow's master
What does the old crow not know?
How to go faster.

The young crow flies above, below, and rings
around the slow old crow.
What does the fast young crow not know?
WHERE TO GO."

And to all a good night!!!

Get ready, get set.....

3 of the "bigger kids" at play!!!

After the first run down Eagle Drive.

Still precious

Nana with our newest grandbaby.

Two babes if I don't say so myself. Precious is the word that comes to mind.

Braden

If we could just bottle the sweetness of this little guy we could sell it and make millions. He is an angel if their ever was one.

Lewis & Braden - Goofy isn't it?

Braden had just taken a fall and his dad was trying to console him. Cute faces.

Claire Elizabeth Nuttall - I only have eyes for you!

Savannah - Picture Perfect

Rylan - His he handsome or what?

Check out those eyes! Claire you are sooooo cute!'

Father's Day 2007

Today was blogging day. The day that the Children decided we needed a blog. So here it is. It won't be much but it will exist. It was a great day. Anytime we have all of our children and our grandchildren here is a blessing. It was a three "F" day. Food, Fun and Frolics. Nana as usual out did herself. A gourmet meal was had by all. Being Father's day I got to choose the menu. Fettuccine Alfredo was the main course with cheese bread, salads and of course chocolate cream and banana cream pie for dessert. Bocci Ball was played until Lewis bounced one of the balls on the driveway and it exploded. That quickly ended that game. Chipping golf balls was the next event and that lasted until all the golf balls (probably 3 or 4 dozen) were hit into the pastures. Then the social hour occurred. The gal's talking about "so you think you can dance" and the guys just talking. A few weeks ago Nana bought some "plasma cars" for the grandkids. They have a blast on them. You can see from the pictures how fun they are. But when you get the big kids, Florrie, Jimi, Aubree, Lewis, Dave, Todd and oh ya, Dee. Then who knows what's going to happen. Check the other blogs for the great pictures of Dee aka Evil De-neivel. Anyway thanks for a wonderful day. It will be a Father's day we will remember for along time.
